Use this process when ATO SmartDocs has a direct API connection to your Document Management System, such as HowNow, FYI, SharePoint or SuiteFiles.
You will see an Export button next to the Start Processing button when API export is enabled.
Once you finish processing documents in ATO SmartDocs, and you are ready to export them, filter the list to display the documents you want to export. You can use Filters or Load Filter to select a specific filter. Refer to the ATO SmartDocs - Filters video for more details on filtering options.
Select the documents you want to export by marking the checkbox on the left-hand side.
Click the Export to button. The system exports both the ATO document and the associated letter or email sent to the client.
If you want exported documents to have TFN details redacted, contact [email protected]. TFN redaction is available for FYI, SuiteFiles, HowNow and HowNowX.
Note: If you need copies of letters for printing, download the documents first before exporting. You can refer to the article on Downloading documents to upload to your Document Management System for details.
If you do not want to export the letter or email that was generated, untick Save Email and/or Save Letter for that Document Type in the Document Profile configuration.
