Importing errors – SuiteFiles

Updated this week

Error: Sequence contains more than one element

This error indicates that a document with the same name already exists in SuiteFiles. SuiteFiles does not allow duplicates.

New client folder are being incorrectly created in SuiteFiles

If the client groups or names do not match exactly between your practice management system and SuiteFiles, then SuiteFiles will create a new folder when you export documents from SmartDocs.

To resolve this:

  1. Amend the names in your practice management system so they match exactly as they appear in SuiteFiles.

  2. Perform a data sync and, if required, a data refresh.

  3. Future documents will export to the correct SuiteFiles folder.

This update does not fix documents already exported incorrectly. You must manually move those documents into the correct folders.

To avoid naming issues, SuiteFiles provides a list of restricted characters:

The remote server returned an error (404)

You will need to reconnect the SmartDocs SuiteFiles API under Setup > Configuration, then select the Integration tab.
