Follow the steps below to make any adjustments to the SmartDocs account for a particular user.
Log in using the email address for the account you need to access.
When you reach the authentication page, open the dropdown and select Email.
This sends an authentication code to the associated email address.
Enter the emailed authentication code to complete the login.
Once logged in, select My Account from the top‑right corner of the screen, you will need to drop down the menu under the login details.
Click Edit Profile.
Update or remove your mobile number as required.
You can now re‑scan the QR code into your authenticator app, after clicking on the Re-scan QR Code link. This is useful if you have a new mobile phone that you need set up the 2FA on.
Scan the QR code using your preferred authenticator app (Google or Microsoft).
Enter the verification code displayed in your authenticator app.
To insert a new phone number or update an existing one, click Change, then click Add.
Enter the mobile phone number and click Submit.
A verification code is sent to the number you entered.
Enter the verification code to complete the update and click Submit.
To enable a third‑party authenticator for a new user for the first time, follow the same instructions:
Install Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator
Scan the QR code
Enter the verification code
If 2FA is not enabled, the system displays a mandatory 2FA setup screen when you log in to iPracticeHub, and you must complete setup before proceeding.
