Updated over 2 weeks ago

Clients can add their Vault login page to their mobile device’s home screen for quick access. The instructions differ slightly between iPhone and Android devices.

iPhone

You can add a website icon to your iPhone Home Screen for fast access to the Vault.

  1. Open the Vault URL in Safari (before requesting the Access Code).

  2. Tap the Share icon in the menu bar.

  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.

  4. If Add to Home Screen is not visible:

    • Scroll to the bottom of the list

    • Tap Edit Actions

    • Tap Add to Home Screen

Once complete, the icon will appear on your device’s Home Screen.

Note: Some websites may request permission to send notifications. You can adjust these anytime in your iPhone Notification settings.

Android

  1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to the Vault URL.

  2. Tap the three‑dot menu in the top right corner.

  3. Select Add to Home screen.

    • If the site has an app available in the Google Play Store, you may instead see Install app.

Editing the Icon Name (Android)

After choosing Add to Home screen, you will be prompted to edit the title of the icon.

  1. Edit the title as required.

  2. Tap Add.

You will then see the icon on your Home Screen. A small Chrome symbol will appear on the icon, indicating that Chrome is the browser linked to it.
