Import the documents into SmartDocs

Depending on your computer settings, your downloaded files may automatically save to your Downloads folder.

  1. Open your Downloads folder.

  2. Select all downloaded documents.

  3. Drag and drop them into the ATO SmartDocs Documents tab.

  4. Ensure the word Copy appears before you release the mouse button.

Refer to Browser Download Settings to configure your browser so that PDF files download automatically instead of opening in a new tab.

A progress window displays how many documents have uploaded and when the process is complete.

Once the upload finishes, the documents appear in a list with a white background, indicating they are Unprocessed.

Documents can now be processed following the steps under Document Processing.
