Sending additional documents via ATO SmartDocs

You can not only send ATO documents from ATO SmartDocs. You can also send non-ATO documents to a client via the secure 2FA process that is available in ATO SmartDocs.

Follow the steps below to process and send a non-ATO document through ATO SmartDocs.

  1. Scan the document via your scanner and save the document as a PDF. If possible ensure that the document is scanned with OCR (Optical Character Recognition)

  2. Ensure that a Document Profile has been created

  3. Drag and drop the PDF into the area at the top of the ATO SmartDocs processing screen, where it indicates to 'Drag and drop your file(s) here'. Note: The Bulk Scan Import function can be used to split the the PDF if it contains more than one document for different clients. E.g. One PDF that contains a number of signed ELDs for various clients.

  4. The document will appear in the Documents tab with a white background.

  5. Check the tickbox to the left of the document, then click Start Processing.
