Export to Kloud Connect

Learn how to export documents from ATO SmartDocs to Kloud Connect

Updated over a month ago

Before exporting to Kloud Connect, make sure you have imported documents from the ATO Portal, processed them and completed all required actions in ATO SmartDocs. Once you are ready to upload documents into Kloud Connect, follow the steps below.

  1. On the left-hand side, tick the checkbox for each document you want to export to Kloud Connect, you can use the filters to assist. We recommend exporting documents after you have emailed and notified clients because a timestamp is added to the footer of the email.

  2. After selecting the required documents, click the Export to KC, button located below the ATO SmartDocs tab.

  3. After clicking Export to KC, a pop‑up notification appears showing whether the documents were successfully imported.

  4. If no pop‑up appears, your browser may be blocking pop‑ups. Click the pop‑up icon in the top right corner of your address bar, allow pop‑ups for the site and click Export to KC again.

  5. We recommend checking Kloud Connect to confirm that documents were filed correctly under the appropriate client.

Note: If you recently changed your Document Management System or if documents are not appearing in the correct folder path, contact [email protected].
