Features of ATO SmartDocs Vault

The ATO SmartDocs Vault is a secure storage area which will enhance your clients' experience when receiving ATO documents. Each client has access to all their documents via a unique link with 2FA.

If your practice is already using the Vault, please select the relevant Vault article from the left-hand menu or below.

Below is an overview of the areas and functionality within ATO SmartDocs Vault.

  • Documents to Clients - This area allows for documents to be dragged and dropped, ready for Archiving or Sending for Signature to clients. Refer to Vault - Documents to Clients.

  • Out for Signature - This area shows a list of documents that have been sent for signature to clients. Refer to Vault - Digital Signatures.

  • Signed Documents - This area shows a list of documents that have been signed by clients. Refer to Vault - Digital Signatures.

  • Archive Documents - This area shows all documents that have been processed via ATO SmartDocs or archived for a client through the Vault. Refer to Vault - Archive Documents.

  • Documents from Clients - This area shows all documents that have been uploaded by a client into their client's Vault for the practice. Refer to Uploading Document to the Vault (from your Clients).

In addtion to the above areas of the Vault, there are a number of settings that can be maintained. Refer to ATO Smartdocs Vault Settings.

NOTE: If you do not have the Out for Signature or Signed Documents tabs, then the Digital Signatures module has not been turned on for your practice. If you are interested in Digital Signatures within the ATO SmartDocs Vault, please contact our support team on 1800 626 678 or [email protected]
