The Sync Data step is now automatically scheduled to run overnight. You can check the date/time next to the Sync Data button to confirm when the sync was last successfully run. If you need to run the Sync Data manually, you can still optionally run Part 1: Sync Data below.
Part 1: Sync Data
In iPracticeHub, go to Setup > Manage > HubData, then open the Import Data tab, alternatively, access the HubData tab within the ATOSmartDocs processing screen.
Select Sync Data on the right-hand side of the screen.
When the “Would you like to run import now?” pop‑up appears, select OK.
If the pop‑up window does not appear or appears blank, clear your browser cache.
A progress window will appear. Wait for the progress bar to reach 100%, then select Close.
Part 2: Drag & Drop Tax Reports from XPM
In XPM, go to Reports > Report Builder and open the following reports:
ATO SmartDocs TFN
ATO SmartDocs Estimated Tax
Export each report as a CSV file.
When both reports appear in your Downloads folder, select them together and drag and drop them into the “Drop your CSV data document here” area.
When the pop‑up appears, select OK.
The next pop‑up will ask you to select a Master File.
Always choose the TFN report from the dropdown menu.
Then select Confirm.
Another pop‑up will confirm that the tax data import has completed. Select Close.
Your data is now up to date.
