iTools - Email

Learn how to view emails sent and send emails

iTools email gives you access to the list of emails sent from iPracticeHub. You can send a new email, view existing emails, and resend emails. You can open the Email List via iTools > Email.

NOTE: If you are using Office 365 or SMTP, you can also check the Outbox of the mailbox that you are using to send emails from ATO SmartDocs.


Email List

The Email Notification List displays all emails created in iPracticeHub. You can search by Subject, Email Address, or Content.

The Resend column shows whether the email was sent to the client.

  • If the arrow icon appears in the Resend column, the email was successfully sent.

If an email has been resent, coloured tags display its status.

  • If the grey resend button appears on the far right, you can resend the email by selecting it.

  • If the grey resend button does not appear, the email was created but not sent. This means the original email for that document was deleted.


Send Email

You can send emails from iPracticeHub using the Send Email option. This is available here and in the Update area of iWorkflows > Outstanding.

To send an email:

  1. Complete the email fields as you would in any standard email.

  2. Click Send.

The default sender address comes from Email Configuration under Setup, but you can overwrite it if needed.
